Interstate 29 Reopened From Watertown to North Dakota State Line

WATERTOWN, S.D. – Northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 29 from Watertown to the North Dakota state line reopened at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. 

  • Travelers should expect to encounter snow/ice-covered roads. 
  • Snow removal equipment will be present on the roadway.
  • Please use extra caution. Reduce travel speed and do not use cruise control.

No Travel Advisories are currently in place on some state highways in the northeastern part of the state.
