** UPDATE** The Permit Center is unable to process permits today (Wed. Aug. 20) due to a state-wide network outage.

Until the permitting system is back online, limited paper permits are available for walk-in traffic at the Ports of Entry until they close. Phones remain down.

Jefferson Port Entry: Available until 6 p.m. CT

Sisseton Port of Entry: Available until 6 p.m. CT

Tilford Port of Entry: Available until 7 p.m. MT

The following restrictions limit what type of permits may be issued:

• We cannot review routing requirements

• Oversized loads

o Nothing over 12 ft until the routing system becomes available.

o Nothing over height

o Limited overweight, if it can be routed safely.

• Basic permits may be issued.

• Check or cash only accepted at the Ports.
